My mother stayed here for few weeks and with my kiddo's fall break, Election Day, Veteran's Day, and Thanksgiving week was all off for school...my motivation/energy for drawing drained down to zero. So I did this get compliments from local natives :-D to get my mojo up again.  It worked...my hubby who is a self-proclaimed C3PO hater, kept giving me

Obviously, talent runs in your family. Without a doubt, your daughter's picture is way better than I could have done. I'm especially impressed with the face. She has a good eye for details.

When I was her age, I was drawing the exact same princess over and over and over and over and made my mother worry (^.^) She has a better start-off that's for sure!
