If someone made lunches like that for me, I'd starve. I'd never be able to actually eat them. They're too cute (especially Santa and Rudolph)!

I'm sorry for the loss of your cat. 18 is a very long life. I'm sure your cat had a fantastic life with you and your family. Your new girl is so pretty! I'm super fond of black cats. I have one, too.

Sometimes her friend begs not to eat them, but my kiddo is very brutal and devours them all! (@O@)

She was a great cat and she had a great life. We can't complain (^_^)

Good grief! How long does it take you to put one of those lunches together?? Those are awesome! She must be the envy of every other kid at the lunch table!
And that is a wonderful looking cat... always happy to see black cats find good homes; so many people think they are bad luck or other dumb things. I think black cats are just beautiful.
Though I'm sorry to hear about your loss... always hard, especially after that long.

I make them when I am making dinner. The problem is, making bento itself is super easy. It's the decoration part that takes the long time becaues I am not crafty at all (>_>)

I was surprised that some people still believe the bad luck in black cats. I thought it was more historical notion or something (^_^;) We Japanese don't have any such thing for black cats so it's hard for me to relate...

People can be just horrible sometimes. Most shelters won't even adopt out black cats around Halloween because of the potential that bad things will happen to them. >_<;

I love your bentos. They are so well done.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your cat and congratulations on adopting. She looks like a great kitty. I hope you have her for many years to come. What did you name her?

She had a long great life, so we really can't complain...our other cat died when she was only 14 (._.)

She keeps sleeping with my kiddo every night so it helps us a lot (^_^) Her name is Uni-san ("Oo-knee" san). Uni means Sea Urchin. I wanted to name her something else but my American hubby just can't pronounce the name right (-.-)
