Green is one of my two favorite colors, so you can imagine how much I'm enjoying the nature picture.

Awww, the new cat is so sweet! I'm glad she ended up with you and your family. I'm sure she'll have a wonderful time living with you. It's nice that everyone gets along so well!

My male cat loves getting his belly rubbed. My girls aren't really fond of it, though.

My house is build right against woods. That's the biggest reason we decided on this house. I love the scenery from our windows! (^_^)

The tortie is super skiddish, and so far only seems to be opened up to me, which makes me feel MIGHTY good. (*^_^*)

I wonder what makes most cats hate their belly rubbed? Must be a reason somewhere...

The tortie is lucky to be adopted by such a loving mama! My dog was also super small and under-nourished when we found her and it took her months to stop hiding under things and start trusting us. Wishing her and your fam the best!

Awwww I feel worse for dogs that was treated badly..I mean it's bad for dogs and cats, but cats are more emotionally independent whereas dogs are more master-oriented and I am sure it was really devastated for your dog. Glad to hear your dog is in the great home with you! (^_^)

The picture is gorgeous. I love the softness of the colors.

That was an amazing thing you did, taking on a cat with a lot of health issues and putting the time into her to help her. She is beautiful.

After checking out few of the shelter listings, I noticed how some cats come with conditions...for example today I was reading a cat history where she was hit by a car at about 8 weeks old so even after treatments she still has occasional issues of leaking pee without her knowing. Now THAT would be an issue (@_@) and something I am not willing to handle...

So in comparison her issue seems pretty minor, specially now (^_^)

That poor kitty. It is going to be so hard for her to get a home. :(

I know and it's the cutest thing too (even tortoiseshell!!)

I'd better stay away from the shelter for a while...I can't manage any more than 3 animals and 2 kids (including 1 middle-age messy son)!

Love the nature picture and really fun to watch how it evolved. It's so fresh looking and the colors are soothing. I love the woods, though they're not quite that color just yet. LOL
And it is amazing that you rescued the kitty... probably not a lot of people would have, and who knows what would have happened to her? Glad she has such a great home. ^___^

I loooove the looks and feels of the woods specially right after rain! Everything smells so fresh and you can almostf feel all the grass and trees are breathing (^.^)

I was lucky that the cat was my favorite tortoiseshell (^_^) So it didn't take too long for me to make up my mind but my hubby and kiddo surely looked surprised on my decision (^o^;) She still has some emotional issues but she certainly starts to open up to me (heck forget rest of the family LOL)
