I feel like i have changed a lot, in a good way... or maybe it took me a while to notice all my selfish characteristics, and i am finally acting upon on it. Maybe thats the fact that led me to volunteer in the peace corps, and thats the fact that drove me to sign up to go

When you point out how mature you are for doing selfless things, it just sounds like you're trying to assuage a guilty conscience. Also, "effect" is a noun, "affect" is a verb.

helping people is not what made me mature. i guess i didnt make it clear in what i wrote. instant maturity is a bold statement. i just started noticing bad qualities about myself and maybe that is the first step in maturing.

i found out today i couldnt go due to the fact thati i was one of the last people to sign up. maybe next year.
atleast i get to hang out with you, and visit chelsea at vcu next weekend.
