Yoochun looked out of the living room at the balcony. The birthday boy leaned against the metal railing, all of Seoul spread out in front of him. Wind blew in all directions in the altitude they were at. Looking at the clock he grimaced the clock read in bright neon green letters, 12:00 pm.
They had a schedule to do tomorrow. completely packed, n time for birthday celebrations just hurried happy birthdays and cards shoved into his hand.
Yoochun sighed it was never like that on his birthday. everyone stopped and threw him a party, took time to shove cake in his face, and make him stuff five pieces of cake in his abused stomach.
Junsu seemed to have no such luck, lately when his birthday cam around it would be meshed with Christmas, no cake in face, or five gigantic piece stuffed into his belly. Just eggnog and apple cider along with presents for both Christmas and his birthday.
Taking light steps he walked out into the balcony and leaned over the railing facing the living room. Junsu seemed to take no notice of him being there. Holding a glass of what it seemed to be either water or flat sprite. Taking Junsu's glass he placed it on the table that was now covered in a light dusting of snow.
Junsu didn't look at Yoochun even then. His face was angled to the moon, surrounded by a sea of black with clouds as giant ships cutting through the air easily. The moon light fell on Junsu's face, amplifying the paleness of his skin, and giving a mysterious tone to his face.
He wore a simple, thin, long sleeved shirt that must have been borrowed from Jaejoong, and a pair of dark blue jeans. Much too light of clothing for the weather outside. Yoochun himself was wearing two sweaters and a hat with the two ears hanging down.
Yoochun taking a deep breath and preparing himself to the cold removed his hat and placed it on Junsu's head pulling it down until is covered his eyes causing Junsu to start stuttering impatiently.
The light shone around them making Junsu look haunting beautiful, both in physical sense and in his soul.
"I wish i had a birthday..." Junsu muttered softly calling to Yoochun's attention. Yoochun looked at him with a blank stare.
"You have a birthday Junsu..."
"Not like that.. like and actual birthday party, where people celebrated MY birthday." Junsu turned moonlight light up half of his face while the other was plunged into darkness.
"Junsu we do celebrate your birthday at least all the trainees do..."
"Yoochun... " Junsu took a step forward and wrapped his hand around Yoochun's waist. Yoochun paused for a second then wrapped his arms around the smaller boy.
"We'll conquer the world, okay? then everyone will know and celebrate your birthday..." Yoochun said into Junsu's hair. Junsu pulled back far enough that he could see Yoochun's face.
Gently cupping it he nodded. Before releasing Yoochun, from his grip. Yoochun, however kept his grip on Junsu. In a swift motion he held Junsu still and landed a light peck on the cheek.
Junsu's eyes widened, before rolling his eyes and pushing him lightly. Yoochun's caramel voice filtered out a laugh. "That my birthday present to you, Happy 16th Birthday Su."
Midnight
Brian
Have you ever been beautiful?
not looks and lips
but something for souls
to sip on in the night air
The secret to it all is
Nothing' ever perfect
but it's still alright
cause you've seen beauty tonight
Autumn leaves are a grand finale
not ding reality
cause you saw the colors
just for tonight
Does it matter
you never knew love?
riding in a patch of midnight
against the tide's endless shove
They say what they say
but it all falls away
and nothing could matter
except how beautiful midnight can be
Did you ever see beauty one night?
Did the world waft away?
Or was I the only one out
that saw so much light in a patch of midnight?
