The Chinese government has a lot of pride and with this disease exposed to the world will affect it in a very negative way. especially since it's economy hasn't been doing well, the number of tourism will go down. of course they're willing to cover this up especially when they did not think this thing will become so big and contagious. they probably thought they would find a cure soon or something.
well, about ur fellowship, haven't there been retreats? they probably helped with opening up with each other. or you could organize icebreakers or events where they'd have to work together. it's still not too late =) (im sorry if this might be the wrong information.. the idea i got from ur entry was that everyone in GAP is still strangers after 4 years and you're either trying to change it, or just regretting)

yeah, i hear you about the bonding thing. naw, they're not strangers or anything cause our church is pretty small, so they've grown up around each other and they're not strangers. but it's just sorta a regret that i have that youths in general don't open up, you know? and you figure that of all places, hopefully the highest place of occurence is at church.
yeah, it's just regrets...heh.
