America/China, Japan - Boyfriend vs Best Friend
America is dating China. America's best friend is Japan. America loves them both (in different ways, though!). Japan and China do not like eachother.
Can be serious, can be funny... I think funnier would work better with a human AU, not as nations, though.
What happens to the relationships? Do America and China break up? Do America and Japan stop speaking? Do they all find some way to grudgingly get along? That's all up to the filler! :D
