Any/Any - Invoking the Red String of Fate
A nation invokes the red string of fate (you can read up on the concept at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_string_of_fate) with his/her significant other by literally tying a red string between their pinky fingers.
(Why? Because it's romantic. Never diss the Rule of Romantic!)
Any pairing is fine here - the only exception is China/Japan, as I've already seen tons of fanworks with the red string motif for them. (Any other pairing with either of them is fine, though - in fact, I'll give you an e-cookie if you do this for China/Korea! :D)
