China is transgendered, but most people don't know. (They think he's a cis male.)
He's normally pretty secure and doesn't believe any of his more stereotypically feminine traits (his long hair, his love of Hello Kitty, etc.) make him less of a man, but sometimes when people mistake him for a girl or tease him for "being girly" he gets insecure. But then his lover, Russia, decides to remind China that he doesn't see him as anything but male. You can take that in a sexy way or not.
I'd prefer if it wasn't TOO angsty, of course the angst is there but I'd like more fluff.
