hi, i saw your post in the med school community. i noticed that you're another half asian premed like myself. my name is dave and i'm a third year at the university of michigan. congrats on getting into wash U. just thought i'd say hey.
Hi, just browsing through some friends, friend's list, and randomly reading journals...
That is so true.... some how asian mixed blood is the best looking people around. Eurasians you call them? Anyway all my cousins that are mixed are like gorgious.
Unfortunately I'm just a full blood asian, but at least I know all my kids, if I have any, will be beautiful little genusis.
be forewarned that the 50% of my entries that do center around science happen to be centered around a specific research project I'm participating in....
Hey! I hope this answers some of your questions. Just to preface, I'm not actually a St Louis native per se... I've only lived here for three years. That being said:
1.) what's the bike messenger scene like in St Louis? obviously, not looking for parttime employment, but the social circles I run in tend to be... bike messengers. Just wondering if they're nonexistant in STL, where they tend to hand out, etc.
I've never seen a bike messenger in Stl... but if I do see one, I'll be sure to ask 'em if they want to be friends with you - sound fair?
On a similar topic, what are the local bike shops like? Would it be difficult for me to find a shop that carried bicycles of a 'single speed', 'track' or 'fixed gear' variety? Is there anything like a 'open shop' in STL, where you can fix your bike using communal tools and a communal space in exchange for volunteering/food/bartering? We've got this crazy-awesome bikeshop called BigShark(www.bigshark.com) down in the loop. Really close to WashU. I don't think it's communal-tool-friendly,
( ... )
Howdy! I see you were once a member of happiness_is. Since that community has been deleted, I've started up a new one with the exact same rules as the old. thats_happiness! If you feel so inclined, won't you join me? We'll be so happy together!

we're genusis, I am yet to meet an even remotely ugly eurasian and we're the nicest people on the planet.
number of eurasiana I know from gifted+talented programs is, like 7000 times the number I know from random activites.
