I'm not so sure about some of these. I want to know how many people were polled. heh I did find it amusing that Bill Gates and Osama Bin Laden tied. :D

what makes an actress or a singer a genius?
i don't get it.
i see "composer" and "songwriter", those i can agree with. but talent doesn't constitute genius.
and i don't see tom waits on there, either.

Yeah that's my problem with it as well. Some of these are just too subjective.

The founder of Falun Gong is at #12? Too bad Jim Jones isn't alive; I'm sure he'd be right up there. I should start a cult. Meanwhile the Dalai Lama is at #26? WTF?

I'm not patient to count what percentage are British or American, but it's an overwhelming majority.

See even the Telegraph knows LSU and the www can sometimes be related. ;P

Instead of the Dalai Lama, they should have picked J. R. "Bob" Dobbs. hah
