I'm working on 寶卷 (baojuan), a genre of Chinese religious literature. Recently I've begun to venture out of my comfort zone of late Ming, early Qing printed texts into the handwritten baojuan of the late 19th century.

I asked my colleague and that's her guess too. Now we're wondering about the character right above 明. I think it could be 顯, but we're not certain about it.

And I remember that I saw "宣分明" in the beginning of some baojuan too.
