The little goober (Schrodinger) was wandering the dining room of the house, which happens to be carpeted. I was getting ready to eat my hot dog lunch when I see him pop a squat... the pee squat to be exact. I tossed my paper towel under his rump and waited to see if he was actually going to pee. He did. Naughty boy. I tossed the soiled paper towel

Oh dear. Lucky you got to him in time, I guess, though not so pleasant for you. Maybe confining him in a smaller area with a litter box will help him learn to be housetrained?

He's usually confined to the bathroom, which has a litterbox in it. We were just letting him explore the house while being supervised. We put Kitten Attract litter in his litterbox after this incident, and it seems to be working.
