thank you for the card I got while in the hospital and the writings inside. I also got a little notepad and a pen.. wanting me to write or?

Didn't know if you got it. Just thought you might like something on which to write, and to let you know I was worried and thinking about you. Sorry you had such a rough time, I'm glad you had a ton of moral support through it all. Been doing ok? (sorry I don't make it on here much.)

I did get it. I've got the pen and even use it sometimes!

Well, there was a point when all I could do was write. After the third surgery I woke up in the ICU with the ventilator down my throat. So all I could do was write on a pad. I was too drugged up really to remember it too much, but I do definitely remember it.

It was sweet of you to think about me.

Ah, I'm doing fine now. Things are shaping up nicely for me in terms of my future, I think. Ended up back in the hospital briefly and had to have outpatient surgery done in November, but all clear since then.. back to hanging out with my friends and working out and all that stuff.

Good to hear. =) I was kind of scared there for a while. For some reason I was thinking about you yesterday and hoping you were doing well. (They always come back!) I've been up and down lately. Been through alot since we used to talk, (though all the things Ive been through I take full blame/credit for.) On the bright side I finally have a satisfactory job and am back home in my favorite city with my lovely friends and family. There isn't TOO much more I could ask for, but that doesnt stop me from asking for it.

I'm happy that you're doing well and as always it's good to hear from you.
