So if I may confess something fabulously embarrassing to you, it would be this:
I hate Japan. The character, not so much the country. I'm not sure why, but he just always annoyed me in the anime and the webcomic, he was never drawn out enough to be interesting. I've never found a Japan that was of any particular interest to me, always just scrolled past.
But your Japan is perfect. Honestly, perfect. He's funny, he's adorable, he reflects the Japanese spirit, you're a good player and you seem to have a good grasp of your history and customs. You have ruined my ability to dislike Japan as a character and for that I shall hold a grudge against you forever but at the same time I shamelessly stalk your threads and think your Japan is always a pleasure to read. I don't have concrit except stop being so perfect

Ahh it's not creepy at all! This is extremely flattering oh gosh. I know Japan can be a difficult character to like, with how Himaruya throws him all over the place and stuff, but I'm always really glad when I can change someone's opinion of him! And I love being able to play off of fabulous people like Fempan and Korea!

I agree with the comment above in regards to your characterization when playing Japan. I wish you'd leave more opportunity for new cr. It's difficult to find an opening to build cr with Japan after an introduction is made. I see new people tagging Japan, but I don't see you reciprocating.
That is something I've been worrying about, though, and a major reason I canon updated him. I'm really interested in getting new CR though so I'd be grateful if you can give me any suggestions. I know my Japan has a tendency to say really repetitive things that give like... no room for building CR. I think the best way to get CR with him right now is to get into some sort of plot with shenanigans, or we can work together to find a topic that interests both of our characters. But yes I am definitely trying to make his conversations with strangers/CR that isn't close more interesting.
I've been slow on replies (I was just about to get to them now) but I'm definitely working on this, so any suggestions are very much appreciated! If you're not too shy, I'd love it if you'd message me so we can plot, though. My AIM is shemurai if you'd like.
