[Alma is on his way back to the room he shares with Kanda, loaded down with two boxes of ornaments, garland, and lights. It's all kind of spilling over the sides of the boxes, but so far he hasn't dropped anything.]
I think this will be plenty... ah- I hope so! I wonder if Yuu found us a big tree?

Oi oi oi, you don't want to start the holidays with him with broken ornaments, right? Take only a few boxes at a time.
[Takes the top one from him at least.]

[He doesn't mind the help at all!]

Got to talk to you about something, Alma.

[Pause. ... but nodding.]
Okay. We'll talk in your room, maybe, since Yuu will be back soon.

Do you want to leave this stuff in yours then? [Lavi's room...might have bbs in it so perhaps a nearby and unclaimed one would be better.]

[Once that's done he'll follow Lavi to a nearby room.]

Let's see. It was the whole Cross being his father thing and what else, the fight between them? I know his real name was part of it.]
Where to start...

[Well, he isn't upset about any of that because he simply doesn't know- so to him it may as well not exist. He's awkward around Lavi because he feels like Lavi pushes him away a lot and keeps secrets- prefers Kanda over him.]

[Rubs his head and looks down at his lap.] I mean, I told Yu a while ago when I told you about ah...when I was in the bar. But I didn't know you well enough then to tell you then.
My name... My real name is Rene Lacroix, my mother named me after my father before she died due to childbirth. Cross was using that name at the time, I'm his son. And...what had been bothering me on your birthday was that I had a fight with Cross about his own bond and not being able to help when Nea disappears.

Do you... do you want me to call you Lavi, still?

I have to keep my bond with Tyki because it's the only thing that keeps me sane. But... I still don't know about Cross at home. I don't think I'll ever get to know with the way Bookman kept us apart until Cross' disappearance.
