I was hoping to avoid this, but I guess the time has come. For the new year, my LiveJournal is going to be friends-only. The anonymous comment on Stewart's blog has reminded me that the Internet really is wide open, and I can't remain private merely by being low-profile ( Read more... )

Damn you. It's your fault I am drinking the Kool-Aid now have an LJ account. But you can't make me use it (although once I've left it sitting for long enough I probably eventually will)!

No, not negative, just from some anonymous polite Iowan. Nothing wrong with that sort of thing, assuredly, but I'd still rather my journal be invisible to strangers.
