(no subject)
Here's my question...
My husband and I are moving to a new place and I've figured out themes and colors for all of the rooms except one- the living room. I love the sleek, swanky look of the 20's and 30's and have 3 pieces that will go in the room in question. But, I don't want plain white walls so I need to figure out a wall-color.
I hate this poster, but my husband picked it out and he likes it, so I'm stuck with it.
You've probably seen this hanging in Rachel's bedroom on "Friends". I bought it without realizing why I knew it.
Frank comes with me wherever I live. He needs a new frame and archival glass, but he'll be hanging in the new place!
Now you have an idea of what I'm going for. I'm not afraid of bold colors. In fact, the room right next to the undecided room is going to be a cranberry red, so if I could find a color that would blend well with the red (or at least would be an eye-sore next to the red) that would be great. I don't want anything too dark because I'd like to maximize the space.
My bar and martini set will also be in this room, so... What do you guys think?
