Redoing my bedroom

Rough sketch on paint of my bedroom setting before and how I'm thinking of moving furniture around. Major change is the relocation of the bed (cornered by the window now) because I want to use a nice canopy net I got on clearance and the fan was on the way before. I'm painting my room this weekend and getting new carpet on the week. What do you

bed across corner/nightstands

For nightstands in that arrangement, depending on what you need on them, small shelves on the wall that would hold clock and phone. Lamps could be wall mounted. Or you could find a triangular desk unit (usually part of a set that includes dressers and chests) and cover it with a tablecloth or something. Or you could get a piece of wood cut to the dimensions of the triangle, and either mount it to the wall or place it on anything to get the right height - whatever you use, be it concrete blocks, simple wood posts, crates etc won't show once you cover the wood. If you wanted the area rasied a little like a headboard, a board across the front would work and the top and front board could be painted.

I have a headboard but I really like the idea of creating a triangular table unit for behind the bed to save the space. That would be so cool and useful! Thank you!
