(no subject)
Hi just joined because I need help with my old room!!
I moved away from home 2 years ago to go to dance college but i've never really done anythign to my old room at my parent's house. I'd like to get rid of a lot of the furniture and make it more plain so my dad can use it as a guest room when I'm not there as I only come back for the holidays!
Here's the layout of my room at the moment:
The carpet is a sort of minty green colour and I can't afford to get this changed so I'd like to make a colour scheme to go round it... maybe pink and green? I'm going to keep the bed and the closet and shelves but I'll probably get rid of the rest and maybe get a couple of 'flea market' type tables or something. I dunnno, has anyone got any ideas?
I'm open to any suggestions really - I really like the whole 'modern antique' lacey effect stuff around at the moment but then again I'm a sucker for 60's design too. Then again it's not really my room any more (its more of a place for me to store my things until I get an apartment of my own!) so...
Any help would be fab!!
