work it

I was meant to celebrate a work accomplishment with my best friend and her husband tomorrow, but she had to cancel (for completely understandable and valid reasons).

Any ideas of how I could celebrate instead?

I don't have a baby sitter so I can't have a big night out. But it would be nice to do something special to mark the occasion.

There is no one else who can join you?-- You will 100% be on your own?
If that's the case, I'd do something like a massage or spa visit for some decadent self-care.

My boyfriend will be home too. I could get away for a massage during the day, potentially.

I would stop at the liquor store, get myself a small bottle of something nice, then run a warm bubble bath with some candles and just relax with a drink. Especially if you don't normally have time to indulge like this. It's a treat well earned!

Agreeing with all the self care. It doesn't necessarily have to seem celebratory for that thing specifically, but should be something you enjoy and would like to do.
