I was formerly a member of ask_a_nurse, and wanted to ask a question of you all recently. However, when I tried to rejoin today, it said I was banned from the community. I do not recall what could have caused me to be banned, but I'd like to be reminded, and if at all possible, I'd like to also petition for the ban to be lifted.

Hi, you were banned after being given three different warnings about breaking the rules. Each time, you posted giving either medical or medication advice, or to share your own personal diagnostic information as a suggestion to help. These are not allowed in AAN.
There are other communities you could try that do allow the type of sharing you seem to want. medquest and womenhealth are the two most active that I know of.

The mods also noticed that a lot of your posts (and you do have a LOT of posts in ask_a_nurse) are really things that someone online can't provide info on and you are often told that you need to see a doctor. A community such as this can't replace or even really supplement in person care, especially for people with ongoing health needs. I hope you are able to find a community that can provide what you need.
