~that's why i went to Field School~ ;D but in all seriousness, i feel the same way; i simply cannot stand those girls that are loaded with money, and then say they can't have enough of something or that their life would be incomplete without a particular thing that they've yet to buy. total b.s. we should tell them to be homeless for a day- only then will their values change. geez; well, in the words of Holden Caufield, they're "phonies". (read the Catcher in the Rye- it's great! there's a lot of cussing; lol)
I just laugh my ass off at that kind of stuff. It gets to a point where everything is so absurd it is hysterical...and I worry about my sister (who is 14) going in that direction. Most people generally snap out of it though. At least that has been my experiences.
