I got the chance to read The Screwtape Letters my freshman year of college, and they put such a great spin on typical theological writing. I can be such a cynical person, so I responded well to the caustic tone of the writing. However, at the same time, it conversely is so insightful about how we as believers leave ourselves open to attack. Really good stuff.

I'm back in town. We need a hang before you leave for Serbia. And, why don't you start passing some of these books you have so much free time for along to me? Of course, me reading them with the enormous amount of free time I have will be a slow go, but regardless...
