So relieved. I too missed the message in italics at first.

Now I can save the ticket price of X-Files and see Dark Knight again! :)

Me too. I was more excited for X-Files than for Dark Knight before they both came out.....man how X-Files let me down. :(

I still recomend seeing it. I dont want to give anything away...all I will say is that none of it has the same feel or that gripping sense of urgency that even the worst x-files episodes still had.

i could've waited to see the film on dvd. it was just like an episode but not 1 of the good ones.
i wanted to see the story continue with the ----- theme. you know what, i don't want to spoil it for others...

Ya. It would have been better if they would have done one that lent itself to the overall mytharc pf the series.

I thought it was very poorly acted. While the shots were nice they didn't build tension right. The whole movie I felt distant and unattached from characters that I am normally quite into. I thought even the plot wasn't necessarily bad....it was just poorly paced and executed. Really though, my main issue is that it just didn't feel like the X-Files to me AT ALL. I would have preferred it to be a mytharc based movie, but I knew it wasn't going to be . So I didn't expect that and I'm not disappointed by that....it just wasn't good enough to put out after so long. After this long it needed to be something that was jaw droppingly amazing.
