I feel like I can not be creative within the context of Glider anymore. I don't feel like Rory and Christopher can or want to go where I want to go musically. I don't think I'll stop playing with the project....but I think I am gonna distance myself a bit after this disc. It started out very clearly (at least to me) as my band, my sound, my ideas (

Yeah, I may not have mentioned there, but really I'm looking for people as good or better than me. Becky, at least plays clarinet. Maybe we could start some kind of jazz clarinet project. You however.....hmm....practice up the drums on rock band and maybe in a few years we'll talk ;)

If only it was ANYTHING like playing guitar. Sadly, it doesn't even resemble it.

I have not worked on that in years. A hard drive crashed with some 30 or 40 recordings on it. Not recoverable. I did another song or two before abandoning the project. I have demo mp3's of most of the songs. I am unable to edit or, in most cases, re-record them. Every now and again I toy with the idea of putting the better ones together and releasing a disc.....I never get around to it though.

Unfortunately I m too unfocused to do a proper solo project, I need at least one person usually to focus my efforts and ideas into something coherent and keep me excited about continuing the project. I'll get something together soon. or maybe I will start trying to do my own stuff again. We shall see.

lol, nah, I think for the most part those are just better left in the past. Though, you have inspired me to re-record one of the old songs I think. I may even start on it today.
