notes for 0.5.0-alpha

Current users can use the "Check for Updates..." menu item under the "asLJ" menu to get this update.

DOWNLOAD (this is alpha software and probably has bugs. it is provided as-is-be careful and use it at your own risk.)

still waiting for userpics previews & stuff .

UPD: I only see the list of userpics(with previews) when editing the old posts, but not in the main window =(

Thanks, I'm glad that you like it. Let's see what we can do about the userpics menu.

While some of what I'm asking may be "yeah, of course, duh" kind of things, I just want to make sure that I understand exactly what's happening.

When you edit a past entry, you are in fact seeing the toolbar item and when you click on it you get the menu which shows pics and keywords.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner--for some reason, I didn't get a notification of your reply.

Could you turn on the "Verbose Logging" option in the preferences, run Console.app (in Applications/Utilities), in the "Filter" search box at the top right corner of Console.app, type in "asLJ", then in asLJ open a new entry window and select your account, then copy/paste anything that shows up in the Console window?

Also, what happens if you open a second new entry window and also select your account there? Do the userpics show up there?
