I'm preparing a 0.5.2-alpha release that fixes the issue where userpics don't appear at the proper size in the userpic menu and adds support for four additional LJ-type sites (Asks, BootieJournal, Ivanovo, and OpenWeblog). Are there any other issues that should be fixed in this maintenance release

The only things I can think might be a nice addition would be some quick buttons for text formatting (links, italics, bolds, etc). Also- and I don't know if this would be too hard to implement due to all the different LJ clone sites this client connects to- would be be possible to put a quick link for linking other journals? The only way I can think to add something like this is with a drop-down menu kind of thing that, when an option is selected, would drop the text into the entry form. For instance, it would have as well as and clicking would drop that exact text into the entry, where you would fill in the user's name. (I think DW just has a simple command but I don't use DW much to know for sure.)
I think some other clients will let you choose from the whole list of your friends/communities/feeds and just plop Naeko in, if that's the user you selected but, again, I don't know how that would work with so many clone sites out there ( ... )

I'll look into providing a way to choose from a list of friends, etc., for 0.6.

Oh, I thought of something else. Would it be possible to make a shortcut to get the preview window open? I use it a lot and prefer to use the keyboard to using the mouse.

The second, a shortcut for preview, is supposed to already exist, though it does seem to be missing in the 0.5.1 release. It should have been and will be ⎇⌘V (cmd-opt-V).

Mmm, I'd personally love to be able to customize the key stroke to post so it's the same as Mail.app (command+shift+D, which XJournal uses too). It would also be great if asLJ could remember the crosspost choices I pick. Probably minor, now that I've realized that Dreamwidth will crosspost for me, even if I post via a client.
Also, so far so good on Snow Leopard (10.6.2, anyhow). :)

As to 3, I'm not entirely sure what you mean for docking it versus free-floating--could you give me a bit more description as to how you'd like/expect it to work?
