Well, after seeing this awesome meme that several folks are participating in, like tigerlilly33 , I've decided to join their ranks and complete my own 30 Day Song Challenge. Yay! \O/ I thought it seemed like so much fun, so if anyone else wants to do it I'd definitely encourage them to do so (so I can read about your answers! LOL!) ;D

Ack! Why do we have so much in common? I lurv Jeff Buckley. His voice is like honey or velvet or honey covered velvet. Why did he have to be taken from us so soon? He could've gone on to do so much more. :(

I love love love Grace, especially "So Real" and "Lover You Should've Come Over". Oh my gosh, I'm going to have to crack out this CD (oh back when you actually bought the album of music you like...) and listen to it.

And thanks for the name drop! This meme is so much fun.

Oh man, you are SO right! Jeff's voice is exactly like you described and just every time I hear him sing I get chills. Literally. *sigh* Yeah, why does it always seem like the greatest talents get take too soon? ;__;

And I adore all the songs you mentioned, especially 'Lover You Should've Come Over'. You know, I think I even heard somewhere that that song was played at Jeff's funeral, and so I can't help but think of that every time I hear it. :C

And yep, it's a fun meme and I'm glad I get to participate in it. =D But I totally understand about it being a lot of work, though I guess since I figure I'm on LJ so often lately anyway I might as well go ahead and try this and see what happens. LOL! c:
