i spun some yarn for the first time tonight:
sorry for the slightly blurry photo. i seem to have lost all photography abilities i once had....
i've been meaning to give it another go for a while now. my paper crane's "how-to-spin zine" gave me the motivation to finally pick it up this afternoon. it's a very lumpy, bumpy, and over-twisted hunk of yarn, but i'm still pleased with it. i ran out of roving in this colour, though, so it's a small chunk, and i don't really know what i'll do with it just yet.
i'd like to keep spinning tonight, but maybe i should finish knitting this scarf i've been working on for the last 3 weeks. i want it finished, i'm just so tired of it!
