the other night, we visited some friends, who have the warmest house ever! i long for the days when i'll be living in a house with actual insulation. a day when i turn on the heat, it actually warms up the house. i'm just tired of having to layer on 3 sweaters and wrap myself in a blanket just to keep me from freezing to death inside.

i never heard of strawberry shortcake cereal but heard of strawberry shortcake. my sister had this tiny figurine and her hat smelt just like strawberries, it was so cute. there is a cartoon about her on tv these days too...

they brought her back for today's kids. i haven't seen the cartoon, but i don't think it's the same. i think she wears overalls now? they've also recycled my little ponies and ninja turtles. i wonder what else has come back....

Haha...what fun cereal? Strawberry Shortcake selling Strawberry Shortcake's cereal? I've never tasted it as we don't have it in Asia but it sure sounds very berry.

they stopped making this about 20 years ago, i think! so i'm sure there are very few around here that even remember about it. i would love to taste it again. yum!

me too! i loved the way she smelled, too. i had these stickers that i would keep in a sealed plastic bag so that the strawberry smell would last forever. i also had smelly stickers for the little peach girl, the lemon girl, and orange blossom too. wonder what happened to those.....
