Unless you have been hiding from me for the last 6 months or so, you will probably know I really want to do the CELTA course over this summer. I've emailed a couple of places about this and yesterday I got an email from York St. Johns telling me they are planning to run the online course (which is the same as the non online one) for 10-12 weeks ( Read more... )

I quite like both though a big plus with the online course is that I read pretty quickly and remember things well so it may be quicker doing it that way than face to face.

Then again it might be so intensive face to face that the above qualities won't matter...

How often would you need to travel to Leeds, as that can get quite expensive if it's a regular thing. A young persons' railcard would probably knock a fair chunk off that though if you have one. Also from experience trains between York and Leeds at peak times tend to be absolutely packed, so there'd be no guarantee of being able to get stuff done while commuting.

It would be Monday to Friday everyday for a month. I like trains but that is expensive and time consuming.
