I'm 8 months and 3 days along. To those of you not smuggling beach balls under your shirts, that means I'm in the last stage of pregnancy... the stage that seems to suck the most. The baby kicks harder, you pee more frequently, and you're crankier than a cat with a static problem ( Read more... )

You've reached the stage was I was asking my grandmother, "How the hell did you do this seven times?!?" while swearing I would never do it again. I still don't know how she did it, and I still swear I'm not doing it again.

The doll... Well-intended, but somewhat ridiculous, IMO. The only way I can see the doll being a tool to help Joey get ready is if YOU spend a hell of a lot of time carrying the doll around, changing it's diapers, talking to it, cuddling it, feeding it, and telling Joey to be nice to it. *chuckles*

I don't think its strange for Joey to have a baby. At this age it teaches him nurturing and additional compassion skills. Now if he were say, 12 years old, and carried around a dolly, I would worry.

Brenna has no interest in dollies. She carries around a stuffed unicorn and a plastic horse. She knows there is a baby in mommy's belly and that its a brother, so thats good.

My grandmother had 10 live births and 5 miscarriages... OMG. I'm doing this twice. She must be INSANE. I feel ya!

Yeah, we're still trying to get Joey to understand there's a baby in there... he probably thinks that everyone with a belly has a 'baby brother' but who knows!

10 births?? Holy Jeebus!
