This is special, as it is by a wide, wide margin, the worst excuse for not attending a party I have ever heard.

So, as to France. I was good this time. I wrote things down.
Now seems like a opportune moment to clean them up and post them:

Where the hell is facebook's contect? I honestly can't find it. I log on, and see that I have friend requests from people I don’t really know. Then I see two monosyllabic messages from friends, and two irrelevant messages from people I don't know who were invited to the same event as me .
