Well, I have decided after more than two years that I should resume my lj.  Is this odd?  I don't know, but I've been quite a slacker in my writing for the last few months so maybe this will be the impetus I need.  
A friend texted me today with the simple imperative "Write now!"
And it's strange.  I did.
So I guess I will post the poem I wrote today

ah yes, though it was strangely creepy to return to that town (i haven't until now) only to find it all quite deserted, the beach as well. i was somehow frightened as well as exhilarated.
