I made lasagna last night. It wasn't particularly authentic, but I thought it came out pretty well. I used pre-made sauces (1 spag and 1 alfredo, mixed) - mixed in some hot italian sausage and spinach too. The filling was ricotta with parm and italian spices. Your lasagna sounds good to me, though I would have just put cream in the tomato sauce because I have yet to find a premade alfredo that I like, and there are enough other cheeses in it already.
