Just a quick update - I have finished the first scene for the new chapter. It's a longish scene of Draco, Harry, and Snape at home at dinnertime. Mostly dialogue... mentions of Maura and the D.A. Feel free to theorize!
So the boys are probing Severus over Maura, what's gonna happen next. I don't know if it's poor taste to marry after what just occurred, but ya know, how short is it too soon? Bet Maura's way of teaching Defense now is becoming intolerable to students so that better be the topic lol!

Exciting! I suspect Harry might not be able to stop himself from bringing up Maura. He wants Severus to be happy and he feels guilty still? Maybe it starts with Draco accidentally letting slip how bad Defense is (sommat he would never do if he wasn’t sleep deprived from childcare).

I don't mind telling you that your caring comment really helped spur me on, reminded me people were waiting and I had to get down to business and just power through the writer's block that had been plaguing me. I can't tell you how many times I had tried to get my planned plot events onto the screen and the words would not flow. But thankfully I just posted Ch 76. Your comment really did help me break through!
Thank you for the love, it really helps. All is well, more or less. I'd say I just had a bad case of writer's block, which I did, but I think there was also some seasonal blues and just generally feeling blah / depressed involved as well. But caring comments like yours really did help me power through and get a new chapter written.
You are such a wonderful writer really. I'm pretty sure it's a duty to have at least 3 writer's blocks per year, so don't worry! Haha...
