Okay, I'm happy to announce that I met my goal and posted the next chapter while it's still Harry's birthday. At least where I live - it might be August 1 by now for a lot of you.

Yay! Happy birthday, Harry. Thanks for pushing so hard to get it out on "time" though I was on vacation on the other side of the country with no internet access so I've only just read it! It's interesting to see how much of Draco's future plans are being derailed by the baby. Does he really plan to stay home with her til she turns 11?! Who will he socialize with to allow her to hang out with kids her age, since all his peers do not have children? And WHAT is Severus working on?!

I thought about leaving a comment, because I have never done so and I just checked your LJ. It’s great news that the Family will be finished... there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

You have no idea, but I have been following you for years and years. AYLNO was recommended to me sometimes... I would say 2008. Ish. I read it and then I read it again. Then I printed it out, because I wanted to read it while travelling. Everywhere.

Do you know that in font size 8 with minimum margins it is over 600 pages?

It was the main reason why I got Kindle in year 2010. I made AYLNO into an e-book for myself and read it countless times since then.

Actually, the last time I read it was... today.

Then there was Summer, which also sits in my Kindle. Shorter, I would say not as rich, but a good second part.

And then Family. I read it as each new chapter came out until... until Harry’s amnesia. That was when it got too much for me, Harry becoming a kind of „poor Mary Sue“. I remember thinking to myself: „This author can write, she
