Has anyone ever used Merry Maids? I am not the type to EVER have a service or crew do anything around my house or my yard... but lately, I've been contemplating getting my house professionally cleaned JUST ONCE as a treat. There is nothing better than having your house cleaned!! I used to have teenagers do it, I have had professionals do it. WHenever I can afford it, I do it. My sister-in-law used merry maids once, she was not as satisfied as I was when I used an individual. Individuals are usually cheaper and more eager to please so you will keep hiring them. And you leave while they clean your house so it is not weird at all. Most of the time the cost depends on square footage of the house and what exactly you want done. Make sure you are clear on what a deep clean is to them and to you. Go for it!!

woo. how much does she charge? I don't have any reason to do this more than very occasionally. Our house is tiny. Its more of a treat to myself that I don't have to find a bulk of 4 hours to deep clean my house.

My house is only 1000 sq feet at the most.

P.S. My family never leaves while they clean, they just stay out the way/room.
