To throw another anecdotal account into the pot, I am male and my sex drive is most probably below average. By the sound of it, sex drive doesn't seem to be an aspect of the autistic spectrum.

This is entirely possible and has been seen. There is a comorbid gene for Kluver-Bucy on one of the X chromosomes. The symptoms are more common in men and feature hyperorality, hypersexuality/satyriasis, and so on. The only thing that varies somewhat is visual agnosia ...sometimes present and sometimes not depending on one of the base pairs. All part of being a male with only one X to code for some important traits...in women, having a duplicate is a safeguard. ...more on that in basic biology ( ... )
