Intro post
Hello, this is my long awaited intro post.
My name is Jane and I'm 40 year old. This is my face (the blonde one) and in this photo I'm with one of my oldest friends Zoe. This was her hen-do.
And here's another one.
I live in the village I grew up in, in a house I have wanted to live in since I was 23. It needs a lot of doing up, but I LOVE it. It's Edwardian and still has a fair few original features.
I live here with my boyfriend, 'the boy' real name Paul. We got together in 2006 and have had many ups and down since then, but I love him dearly. This is him looking beardy and smug. lol.
We also share our house with an Australian Cattle dog called Dyna. She's gorgeous, but is also one of the naughtiest animals I have ever meet. She is the biggest cuddle bug, but isn't gentle about it, therefore I am covered in bruises and scratches.
Other people who are very important to me are my mum, who despite being barmy is my rock. My sister, Tina, who is my best friend. Her children: Eleanor Jane (who is partly named after me), she's 3 and is so clever and sharp it is scary. Jonathan Ranulph, who is 6 months and one of the most difficult and charming babies you'll ever meet. Then there is my brother-in-law Graham, who I love like a brother, he is basically ace (when him and Paul aren't taking the piss). There is also my Auntie Rita, my mum's older sister. Then there are the people I've lost, there have been a few but the most important two are my dad, who died just over 8 years ago at the age of 65 from emphasyma. He died in the house I shared with him, with my sister, mum and I at his bedside. It was a very old-fashioned death. After he died family turned up and we all sat around with his body and drank tea. Then there is my step-dad, he died 9 years ago (they died 8 months apart). He had from lung cancer. It was a very trying time.
