It should surely be a truth universally acknowledged that on hot, windy days there is not the usual heap of washing that would benefit from drying out on the line!!
I've been working my way through the towels, and if the weather keeps up, I can get the bedlinen done during the week. It's amazing how fast everything dries! On the downside, walking down a pavement half in the shade, I managed to get slight sunburn on my left cheek, ear, forearm and foot before I remembered the sunblock.
I think I've washed everything in the house that's made of fabric. Final thing is the throw which protects the sofa from the cats' muddy paws; hoping that tomorrow offers the opportunity for that and then I'm DONE! (except that Griff is back tonight and the huge piles of dirty clothing will start to amass in the basket again *sigh*)
I can't bear this weather to end, I've just revelled in it. Yum yum yum.
The only drawback is having to put sunblock on two gigantic pigs. There's a good deal of acreage needing coverage on a young adult sow; takes about half a tube of cream a day to do the two of them.

And yes, everything not nailed down has been washed. I started on the pillows today.
I was in Northwich by 09.30 this morning, it was lovely out as long as you weren't in the sun, the breeze made it most pleasant.
Tomorrow, my best friend is at a craft fair in Cheadle then I'm going over to other friends in Heaton Moor for lunch and a walk in Reddish Vale.

I think there may be a duvet on the line tomorrow though!
