Last night was the company New Year dinner.  It was in a banquet hall in a big fancy hotel on the river.  It was interesting to see the various states of "dressed up" of my co-workers.  The Taiwanese staff all dressed up.  Some of the guys went with slacks a nice shirt and tie, some of them went with a button up and their jeans... One did just show ( Read more... )

9:50AM - Woke up with much difficulty.  I'm coming down with another sinus infection... I think it's been about 3 weeks since I finished the antibiotics for the LAST one.  Good thing I'm going back to the specialist on Friday.  By then I should be in full blown sinus hell.

Since the government gave everyone a four day weekend by declaring Jan 2nd a second day of holiday, this Saturday is the national make-up day.  Meaning another of those lovely six day work weeks.  I'm always exhausted and relieved by Friday night and I need  my two days of weekend ot unwind after, so this is a sucky week.  Plus, all 5 of my classes ( Read more... )
