And so it is. It was quiet and calm. Almost too calm, but my anxiety would be running high either way. I feel like my whole body is taut and ready for something that I hope never comes.

I had such a great night. Went to see Que La Chinga and The Rubberneckers at Humbrews, met up with some friends from open mic. Finally, Miss Morgan showed up (YAY!) and we danced and hung out for the first time in awhile (out, I mean). I was introduced to some really lovely information (swoon). I had two amazing tarot readings tonight. Now to implement the messages.

At last I had a Monday night off. At last I was heading to Humbrews in search of an open mic to play at which I had to do nothing but show up. No setting up, no breaking down, no worries over time, etc. I called up a few friends, most of whom were willing and ready to go. Wouldn't you just know, Humbrews would be closed? Oh well.
