Agreed. In my case, I just said "There's a gym literally two blocks from where I live. What would happen if I had a membership and could go there any time, day or night?"
And now that I have a membership, I'm just waiting to say "I'm bored, and don't feel like driving into town to play games. Maybe some walking on a treadmill will help."
Some powerful writing, though. All in all, it comes down to not wanting to do things alone. To just have a partner to argue with you or love with or anything. I am weird. Instead of asking, though, where people are going, I tend to step away from him as if to say, "Don't come near me." Yeah, very social.
