The Anonymous Manifesto anonymous November 2 2005, 11:53:27 UTC
A prank without theory is merely a hoax

We are commited to furthering the cause of anonymous expression

Too much time is squandered propagating the notion of identity and the creation of personnas to the detriment of meaningful comments

We are swayed by the assertion of Dr. Martin Luther King: That he would rather be known by the content of his comments than the name of his icon

We call on all journal holders to further the cause of free expression by allowing anonymous comments to be posted on their journals

We anonymous creatoholics will respond in kind by promising to speak
anonymously only to the journal holder of record and not to other
people who have commented in your journal.

is there anything more to our hallowed sense of identity than what we have been taught to appropriate as ourselves? i continue, can there be any such thing as an original thought, a new feeling, a singular epiphany, or freedom of action? i say no, behind the opaque permutation of word there is nothing expressible or experiencible.

there is only the open-ended infinity of a language-game, with varying roles, moves, and rules.

for this reason there can be no such thing as sudden insight, a truly premeditated confession, an about-face, metanoia. there cannot even be a conversation for (by definition) there cannot be multiple individuals: there is only a fulcrum, and a lever. this performs under pressure.

i i i i i.

Shut up you egotistical fuck.

Just shut up. Stop talking about yourself. No one likes you. You don't even like you. You don't even want to be you, and apparently, you aren't even you, yet you still constantly talk about yourself.

Shut. THE FUCK. up.

If you missed the last Skits N Tits, what a great show. The sketch below, "Sexercise", is one of the FFF sketches that was taped (by a very drunk T.Y., you can hear him drunkenly laughing all the way through it) live at Skits N Tits last Wednesday, a sketch by Diane Odeb, Steph Sabelli and Jessica Delfino, hope you enjoy it! toilet seats - be mindful wear you sit? prosthetic_ass January 5 2011, 17:01:36 UTC
as a synchretic Catholic, w/a sneaking suspicion the Mother of Christ got impregnated by a toilet seat, any evidents of such Doesn't mean there isn't angels.. nor that she isn't a Virgin;

be vigilant

watch which you eat & to what you turn a blind eye,

Truth is not only overrated, more overly misunderstood as leverage, has very little to do w/ belief which in turn has practically Nothing to do w/ faith.

1+1 adds up however

so what of anything & one halving to do with the other

slippery people -- we can choose not to be. ccjohn January 5 2011, 23:35:43 UTC
The quantum guys talk about an infinity of multiverses, where anything we can imagine is true. Heinlein wrote about it, in one of his last books but it's kind of sad. His characters start running into characters from other guys' books he liked, but you get the sense he knew his time was running out, wanted to do a hat-tip. Or, if you want, he was getting sentimental. But I stay with Socrates: "All I know, is that I don't know anything." See hints in the Bible of some hope in that. "He who would come unto me, must be as a child." Ever wonder if when we were young, and didn't know anything, we were closer then to the truth than we ever could be now ( ... )
