There's no way I'll try to do a WiP in a situation like this again. Ack, what pressure!! LOL

Funny, I couldn't wait to get this one done with, but in the end, I'm sad that it's over.

I emailed my beta when I was about 500 words into writing this chapter and told her I kept tearing up--just too emotionally invested in the characters, I guess.
In a nutshell, this is how I see their lives going: Al and Corey stay together through most of college, but then their different career paths and ambitions tear them apart. Years later, NY Governor Malfoy schedules a meeting with the top Internet Security analyst in the country....

Thanks for 'spending' this summer with me, both reading my fic and writing yours which I absolutely adored (and which was my favorite of the fest).
Cheers!

I'm glad Harry and Ginny finally told James off; I hold out hope that one day he'll come around. :(
Hugo was seriously awesome. He totally gave Al the kick in the teeth he needed.
Corey looked shocked at first, then he seemed to deflate, to become small and scared.
Me = D: D: D:
I love love love Al's Gay and Proud shirt, and I love even more the fact that he wore it for Corey despite not feeling it yet.
I'm going to pretend that the guy with Remus is Sirius, whether you meant it to be or not. :D
I love this story so much, it's my favorite out of the whole carnival. I adored Al, even when he was being a selfish git, and I love how you took him from shy scared boy barely able to admit he's gay to a still-scared young man able to kiss Corey in public.
Thank you for giving us such an incredible story! :)

I loved writing Hugo--I have one of those 'strange ones' in my family, so Hugo has a special place in my heart.
I think James had pushed as far as he could and it was time to put him in his place. Unfortunately I don't think it'll have much of an effect. He's just too bigoted.
The guy with Remus: I left that a bit vague on purpose--I have some on my flist who love Remus/Sirius and others who love Remus/Severus, so it could be either. Up to each person who they see it as. I'm fine with either. :)
Thanks again!
