I read that in the comic shop in downtown SF on Wendsday and all the tourists were giving me strange looks for the muffled cackling noises I was making. Way to be flattering, Tommy.
Despite the terrible, terrible dialogue and the ten hundred wtf questions (since when does Tommy buy the brother story? did I miss something? it's totally possible) I squeed all the way through that issue. They're both such lovable asses.
Yeah, I wanted to hit Billy every time he said "like." And I was wondering the same thing about Tommy--I suppose one can always swing it as a "he finally gave in during the whole war period while he was MYSTERIOUSLY MISSING FROM ACTION" but I dunno.
He totally watches Project Runway though. YOU KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE.
I don't really buy it. But it was possibly too much to ask the people doing this little series thing to actually read the canon. It would have taken a whole afternoon. TOO MUCH EFFORT.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN PROJECT RUNWAY so I didn't really understand the reference.
Yeah, they could've at least had Billy twisting Tommy's arm to get him to go along. I'm inclined to think that all Tommy's searching in the issue is half-assed anyway, so. It would've worked nicely.
