Yesh folks, yours truly is having the aforementioned 2nd thought about going to FenCon in Dallas. Even though I have purchased my airline ticket, reserved the room, bought two weeks of cat food...and told everyone at work I am absolutely going. I'm supposed to leave Tuesday ( Read more... )

for the ENTIRE time that dru and i have been together, i have had the same talk with him about every con.... "yeah, i know you don't want to go, but once you get there, you'll be glad you did....." lather, rinse, repeat.... sometimes as often as 3 times a day for up to a week.

and sure enough, i was 98% right.

travel is good for the soul. go and have fun. you'll be glad you did.
