2010 is halfway through and so far, the stage performances I've seen are: Kooza, Boeing Boeing, The Whisper House, and Duncan Sheik's concert associated with Whisper House. I'll be going to the Shakespeare festival. Movies: Iron Man 2, How to Train Your Dragon, Kick Ass.
Yup, I don't make it to the movie theater all that much.
As for Whisper House and Boeing Boeing - I liked both. They don't rank high up on my "recommend to other people" list, but they were still fun to see. Whisper House had a main character (the little boy) that I just couldn't like because he was so petulant, but I loved the two ghosts and the songs they sang. I'll probably get the CD by the same name (Duncan Sheik wrote the play and the music, and so released a CD with all the songs.)
Now, if you like The Bridcage, you'd probably like Boeing Boeing. It's a totally over-the-top play with a guy trying to juggle three flight attendant girlfriends. As I've done with other plays, I found myself loving the costumes. I absolutely love the old flight attendant uniforms. Lots of screaming, lots of door slamming and misunderstandings. It's a good little comedy.
